Oh Anthropologie!

How I love thee. Isn't this chair just divine?!? I would give anything right now to be sitting in it on a beach with a fruity drink....that is going to be my Wednesday wish.

(P.S. I think this is a great new thing I might start...Wednesday wishes. What would be yours?)

Areaware

Have you seen Areaware? They are based out of NYC and manufacture and distribute design products. They have everything from kitchen to baby to office to just plain cool things that you will think "I must have that". I have seen them before (see the radios I posted earlier) and below are some of my new favorite items from them.

DIY Furniture

Check out this great project on how to dress up some furniture by decoupaging with a poster. Looks so simple and the piece turned out great. I will have to keep this in my back pocket to try sometime. To see full instructions on how-to, visit the DIY website.

Finished chair!

I have finally finished my chair that I bought months ago at an antique store.
It sat forever in the corner of my apartment with no one sitting on because of its wear and tear and dirt. After much sanding, painting, sewing and gluing I am so happy with the outcome.

It is absolutley adorable and I love it! For a first upholstery job (and probably my last) it looks pretty darn good.

A project

I found this chair a couple months of go and I am bound and determined to reupholster it myself. I'm mid ripping everything off but here is how it originally started. Stay tuned...
