Watch obsession

I used to be a big watch person. And then I fell in love with a crazy expensive one and talked myself out of loving watches so I would not spend the money.

However, these wooden watches by Mistura might pull me back in. I think they are gorgeous! I especially love this Ferrara one.

May I please have...

One of these amazing custom letters from Hindsvik. They make vintage inspired lettering from chipboard, raw natural wood grain, white or black. Where would I put a letter so large?

Great Valentine's Day gift.

Check out these Maple Valentype Blocks. Wonderful! And to even prove the point that you should buy them, read House Industries' product description....it's great.

"As a potential or current House Industries customer, your discerning tastes have undoubtedly driven you to become hopelessly intertwined with a mate who is at least as critical, cynical and mercurial as you. After another long day of ignoring the growing level of commitment and continuous evolutions that define ongoing close interpersonal relationships, you’re not going to want to show up at his or her door with a commercially-produced holiday greeting, a dye-sub printed digital calligraphical representation of the word “love” or a bundle of acetate-encased roses that you haphazardly purchased from a street vendor. With very little advance planning and a relatively low percentage of your hard-earned daily income, you can resolve this conundrum by purchasing one of these lasting tributes to your undying love. And, since the vagaries of complex human emotions are rarely apparent until you’ve already forgotten an important date or emotional milestone, we are supplying you with an all-important deadline and call to action."

Pretty things

I thought I'd give you a few things to covet over the weekend.

Renovo Hardwood Bicycle.

Very Good and Proper Canteen Utility Chair.

Heath Ceramics Salt & Pepper Shakers.

And a delicious looking Lottie + Doof Blood Orange Tart worthy of any Sunday brunch.

Very inventive jewelry

How cool is this jewelry made from colored pencils by Maria Cristina Bellucci out of Rome, Italy. I love the colors, shapes and the simple organic nature of them all. I especially love these rings and bracelet but I think you need to email her to purchase your own.

New Favorite Purchase.

Local boutique, Bunky Boutique (who we love and sells Perfect Dressipe products) has the best selection of hats. Most of them are by Brixton and today I purchased my first one. It is hands down my new favorite item, I already wore it this evening. It is last years Men's Combat Hat (pictured above) and it is not only cute but functional as it has an Elmer Fudd-esque knit flap that folds down to cover my ears! You should check out the rest of this years line (men and women). The other hat I am tempted to get...the Portman Felt Hat in Evergreen...isn't it just divine!?

They have two styles and offers different types of wood...maple, wenge, and zebrawood. I have been thinking about them for quite some time which means it's time I order them.

Art that kills

Check out the work of Judith Seng seen on MoCo Design. I love the glossy, smooth surface on top in combination with the raw wood texture. And such great colors!
