Farewell

The time has come for us to jaunt over to Scotland to celebrate the wedding of our dear friend and founder, Melissa!!!! We are all fortunate enough to go and cannot wait to tell stories of our adventures when we return. Plus some awesome wedding DIY projects we accomplished! (the photo above is the location for the wedding...House for an Art Lover.

Have a wonderful holiday and look forward to our posts reappearing in July.

And we are going to go search for Lochness after the wedding! Wish us luck.

Culinary Dropout

If you are ever in Scottsdale, AZ you must go to the latest FOX Restaurant Concepts place...Culinary Dropout. Everything was delicious. Great drinks, amazing fried chicken and a slice of heaven in the form of soft pretzels with provolone fondue. I'm pretty sure I will be returning just to eat five orders of those.

Platforms

I don't know why but I think this time around platforms are calling my name.

I have never really liked them in the past however after finding a major steal on these neon orange Stuart Weitzman Metro High Heel I am kind of obsessed.

I think the next ones I have to have are these Enzo Angiolini 'Starlite' Platform Pump in nude (p.s. they are patent!). Do you have a favorite platform?

Pretty jewelry

I think some of the jewelry found at dejarnette is darling. Simple, elegant and with a vintage feel.

My favorites are these knot studs and

this too cute dog necklace.

Brainstorm

Have you seen Brainstorm Print and Design? They are a wonderful printing and design studio currently relocating to Philadelphia. The thing they are best at--show posters which I think would be the most fun job ever! I also like the fact that they will print your own artwork...go check 'em out.

Pop!

There are quite an array of adorbale baskets and bags out there but I came across this pop up one by MIO and just had to share. There is a regular basket version and one for your bicycle! Too bad I already have a basket because this might have made it on there. Happy shopping! (P.S. you should check out the rest of their site...lots of fun things.)

Hello shoes

1. You need to go to Net-a-Porter.com right now to fulfill all your high fashion needs. (They are having a sale right now)

And 2. I am dreaming about these Marc By Marc Jacobs heels. A shoe to take any outfit from day to night.

Gardenhouse

Have you been to Gardenhouse? They take vintage pieces, add some modern touches and then sell them. Their work is beautiful and I love all the outdoor furniture pieces.

Garden DIY Project

This last weekend my man planted us a garden! Filled with tomoatoes anf pepper plants to start. We got a little late start on it but he has quite the green thumb so I'm hoping it will survive.

But to label our new garden I want to make these spoon identifiers. And I found a DIY tutorial right here on Shrimp Salad Circus! It looks super simple so I cannot wait.

Wishing I had a HUGE porch

How wonderful are all of these delightful things found in the newest Anthropologie catalog?!?

These lawn chairs in so many bright colors.

This crazy curvy chair that makes me want to be in Alice in Wonderland.

Aaand this lovely garden bench that I wish I had.
