Embrace the electronic.

I love getting mail...not bills and junk mail, but I just love getting a letter or a postcard. It is such a lost art these days so when something does arrive it just makes my day. With that said I am wondering if there is not a way to embrace the old and new. Check out the Cartolina iPhone app. I have not tried it yet, but basically there are some lovely designed templates which allow you to email or text a letter.

An email I don't find so new but receiving a "letter" text in the middle of my work day could make it that much better. Has anyone used it? Thoughts?

May I please have...

One of these amazing custom letters from Hindsvik. They make vintage inspired lettering from chipboard, raw natural wood grain, white or black. Where would I put a letter so large?

Pretty Stationary!

I love cards, notes, journals and everything in the paper world. Here is a post showing a few of my favorite paper products. I'm sure there will be many posts about it in the future.

I’m sure you have seen their stuff here and there but I think it is absolutely beautiful. http://www.elumdesigns.com

Hammerpress out of Kansas City has a great selection of unique stationary...my favorite above is perfect for everything. The letterpress and design studio not only creates stationary but also wedding invitations, posters, cd packaging, art prints and more. Sounds like a fun place to work! http://www.hammerpress.net/
